On February 11, the Hunan-Guangdong-Africa rail-sea intermodal freight train loaded with auto parts departed from Hunan bound for Indonesia, marking that the total number of such trains in operation has exceeded 2,000. As one of Hunan’s five major international logistics corridors, it consolidates foreign trade cargo from Hunan and the central and western regions, transports the goods by railway to ports in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and then ships them to the globe by sea. It has become a vital route for Hunan and the central and western regions to connect with the world market.

2月11日,一列满载汽车配件的“湘粤非”铁海联运国际班列从湖南发出前往印尼,标志着该班列累计开行突破2000列。作为湖南五大国际物流通道之一,该通道集结湖南及中西部外贸货物经铁路运至粤港澳大湾区港口,再海运发往全球,已成湖南及中西部对接世界市场的重要路径。

In 2025, the volume of Hunan’s import and export trade with African countries hit a record high. In the same year, the Hunan-Guangdong-Africa rail-sea intermodal freight train saw double growth in both cargo volume and value, with its cargo structure continuously optimized: auto parts have become the core category, and new product categories have been developed on the import side. In June 2025, the corridor was upgraded to launch the Xiang-Guangdong Maritime Silk Road Africa Express Line, which drastically shortened transportation time. Meanwhile, railway authorities reduced the comprehensive logistics costs for enterprises by nearly 20% through freight rate cuts tailored to different enterprises and government subsidies.

2025年湖南对非进出口额创历史新高,同年“湘粤非”班列运量、货值实现双增长,货源结构也持续优化,汽车配件成核心品类,进口端也拓展了新品类。2025年6月该通道升级推出“湘粤海丝”非洲快线,大幅压缩了运输时效,同时铁路部门通过运价下浮叠加政府补贴,让企业综合物流成本降低近20%。
