东西乐韵交融：《千里潇湘》携手英国皇家爱乐奏响英伦新声

This September, the iconic Chinese folk music production Thousand-Li Xiaoxiang debuted at London’s Central Hall Westminster. For the first time, Hunan Provincial Song and Dance Theatre collaborated with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra (RPCO) to stage an inspiring east-west musical dialogue. 

九月，经典民乐IP《千里潇湘》登陆英国伦敦威斯敏斯特中央大厅，湖南省歌舞剧院首度携手英国皇家爱乐音乐会管弦乐团（RPCO），开启一场东西方跨界音乐对话。

Co-conducted by Chinese and British conductors, the performance integrates traditional Hunan folk instruments and opera tones with Western orchestral music, presenting original works that revitalize ancient Chinese melodies with contemporary creativity.

本次演出由中英指挥家联合执棒，融合二胡、琵琶、古筝、湘剧唱腔等湖湘传统民乐元素与西方管弦乐，创新演绎全新原创曲目，尽显中国传统音乐的当代活力。

Ahead of the show, artists were featured on BBC Radio 3’s flagship program In Tune, reaching mainstream British audiences. As a state-level cultural exchange project, its European tour spans five countries, fostering cross-border civilizational mutual appreciation through universal musical art.

演出前夕，主创团队受邀亮相BBC Radio 3王牌音乐节目，面向英国主流观众传播湖湘音乐文化。作为国家级跨国文化交流项目，《千里潇湘》欧洲巡演覆盖五国十城，以无国界的艺术魅力推动东西方文明互鉴。
