守护生物多样性，湖南会同经验走进COP17

On Oct. 19, Huitong County in Hunan, China, took part in the “China Corner” at COP17 in Yerevan, Armenia, sharing its experience in biodiversity conservation and green development.

10月19日，中国湖南会同县亮相在亚美尼亚埃里温举行的COP17“中国角”，向国际社会分享当地在生物多样性保护和绿色发展方面的实践。

With forests covering 73.88% of the county, Huitong has been protecting wildlife and forest ecosystems while developing green industries such as forest-grown medicinal plants and forestry carbon projects — linking conservation with local development.

森林覆盖率达73.88%的会同，近年来一边守护野生动植物和森林生态，一边发展林下中药材、林业碳汇等绿色产业，让生态保护与地方发展形成更好的连接。
