11月14日，近50只中国特有珍稀物种——白冠长尾雉，经过人工繁育与野化训练后，在怀化市沅陵县的借母溪国家级自然保护区内放归，这里，是它们暌违已久的家园，成为今后自由栖息之地。
On November 14, nearly 50 Reeves's pheasants, a rare species native to China, were released back into the wild after being bred and trained in captivity at Jiemuxi National Nature Reserve in Yuanling County, Hunan Province. 2022年起，长沙生态动物园就开展了白冠长尾雉人工繁育与野化放归项目，如今是长沙首次实现这一雉类物种的大数量野化放归。
Since 2022, Changsha Ecological Zoo has launched a project for artificial breeding and wild release of Reeves's pheasants. This is the first time that a significant number of this species has been released into the wild in Changsha.
